Historia
On the night of the school prom, a young teacher is found dead in the Thames in a drug-related accident. It seems - at first - to be another sign that Cherringham High is spiralling out of control. The new head however is convinced that the teacher's death is suspicious and quietly calls in Sarah Edwards. With her one-time detective partner, Jack Brennan, back in America, Sarah is at first reluctant to take on the case. But when she does get involved, it soon becomes clear that the tragic accident might really be a case of murder - and even Sarah herself could be in danger.

Historia
Charlie Harris is stressed out. The Southern Academic Libraries Association is holding this year's annual meeting at Athena College. Since Charlie is the interim library director, he must deliver the welcome speech to all the visiting librarians. And as if that weren't bad enough, the keynote address will be delivered by Charlie's old nemesis from library school. It's been 30 years since Charlie has seen Gavin Fong, and he's still an insufferable know-it-all capable of getting under everyone's skin.

Disappointed
Revisado: 09-23-20
I’m sorry to be so negative about this book because I enjoyed the first several books in the series. But the story is weak, the dialogue is stilted, and the whole is stuffed full of trivial details. Like trips to the rest room, self disgust over temper lost, numerous accolades about the competence of the hotel staff, endless tales of horror perpetrated by the victim. And the love story, if you want to call it that, is sickening.

An’gel and Dickce Ducote tend to stay put in Athena, Mississippi, but a wedding is a good reason to say a temporary farewell to Charlie Harris' cat, Diesel, and go visit relatives. When a violent storm supposedly sweeps Sondra off a balcony to her death, many guests are potential suspects....
