Historia
The Blues are rapidly reproducing, growing more intelligent and lethal each day. With hundreds of millions still covering the earth, the future of humankind looks bleak. Yet Bruce and his Clan refuse to die without a fight to the bitter end. Meanwhile, the remnants of the US government are experimenting on Blues, teaching them how to fire weapons. It’s up to Bruce and his team to stop this atrocity before they lose the only advantage they have over the Blues. They have no idea that what they find will change the course of the human race forever.

One of the best series I have ever listened to

Both the story and the narrator were amazing. I can not picture Bruce in any other voice. Keep writing and keep narrating.

Historia
His human father named him Cam, as he and his clan were chameleon cats. Kol-ha is what the clan called him, which means shame in clannish. Being a half-breed, Cam was not allowed to take the test to become a clan member. Cam decides that rather than not being worthy to be part of the clan, the clan is not worthy of him. Taking nothing, he leaves the clan to find his place in the world. Though ignorant of the ways of the "outside" world, Cam is a quick learner. His first lesson is the outside world is at war, and he is inadvertently drawn into it.

I bought this book on a whim, thinking it would be a good book as a buffer between two series to listen too. What I did not expect is how much I enjoyed and was enthralled by the story and the characters. The Mc not only shows intelligence and wisdom in his choices, but also respects and honors the people around him. The author also creates this world and gives so much detail, that it is easy to picture it in your mind.
For the narrator, Daniel Wisniewski is one of the best narrators out there and a personal favorite. I have listened to many books that he has narrated and everyone he embodies the character. Not going over the top nor doing a monotone voice. He gives real emotion and understands the mindset of the character he is preforming. All in all, fantastic book and narration.
