In the world of high finance, where success is as revered as it is rare, Ray Dalio emerged as a figure both enigmatic and controversial. Journalists, forever in pursuit of the next big story, often find themselves drawn to such figures, eager to unearth the darker shades beneath the sheen of success. Their quest is as relentless as it is revealing, sometimes unearthing truths, at other times only managing to scratch the surface. This narrative is the backdrop to "The Fund" by Rob Copeland, a tale that delves deep into the heart of Dalio's empire at Bridgewater Associates.

In this intricate web of power and control, Dalio stands as a formidable anti-hero. His leadership, marked by an iron grip on surveillance and a stifling of open dialogue, paints the picture of a man who changed the rules of the hedge fund game. Dalio's world is one where paranoia and power dynamics are as much a part of the daily routine as market analysis and investment strategies. The book critically assesses the sustainability of a system so deeply entwined with the vision of one man, questioning the long-term effects of such a concentrated power structure.

Dalio's journey, as depicted in Copeland's narrative, is a testament to the complexities of success. It's a story that sees him ascend to the heights of billionaire status, reshaping the landscape of hedge funds. Yet, within this success lies a bitter truth, a realization about life and the cost that comes with such unparalleled triumph. In the end, Dalio's story is a reflection of the delicate balance between brilliance and hubris, a reminder that even the most successful among us are not immune to the pitfalls of power.

Are you tired of boring book reviews that lack excitement and humor? Well, get ready for a rollercoaster ride of intellect and laughter with the world's best book review of "Snakes in the Ganga"! Brace yourself, because this book is a game-changer.

Imagine a book so powerful that it could reshape an entire civilization. "Snakes in the Ganga" is that book! It's like a superhero swooping in to save India's ancient culture from devious attacks. These attacks, masterfully orchestrated from international locations, aim to exploit the cracks in India. But fear not, for this book shines a spotlight on these inconspicuous threats and exposes them like never before.

Rajiv Malhotra, the intellectual extraordinaire, takes us on a mind-bending journey through the ecosystem of break India forces. His analysis is so expert-driven and profound that it'll make your brain cells do a happy dance. He uncovers how these negative forces infiltrate India's institutions, polluting them with toxic ideologies. It's like discovering snakes in the holy Ganga, and boy, does it leave you shocked!

But wait, there's more! This book connects the dots between Marxism, Critical Race Theory, wokeism, and more. It's like untangling a web of intellectual chaos with a touch of humor. Rajiv unravels how these narratives myopically examine caste, Muslim grievances, gender, and LGBTQ issues. It's a wake-up call to question our colonized conditioning and challenge the so-called "intellectual frameworks" being cooked up in places like Harvard University. Who knew academic discourse could be so sinister?

And let's not forget the Ivy League universities and their role in painting India as the root cause of all social and political problems in the West. It's like they're playing a twisted game of blame-India-first. But fear not, because "Snakes in the Ganga" exposes their shenanigans with wit and wisdom.

The paramount objective of this book is to promote and propagate the interests of real India, unveiling the forces conspiring against its national sovereignty and prosperity. It's a rallying cry for a grand narrative built on honest research, love for the nation, and a deep sense of our ancient civilization's ethos. This is not just a book; it's a weapon against colonial stupor!

So, my fellow knowledge seekers, prepare to have your minds blown! Dive into the pages of "Snakes in the Ganga" and let the light of knowledge and awareness penetrate your being. Get ready to laugh, learn, and take proactive measures to combat the break India forces. Because when it comes to books, this one slithers to the top of the must-read list!

The book offers glimpses of legendry Indian industrialist J.R.D. Tata’s life. The most memorable lines for me are brilliantly performed by Boman Irani:

“I believe that the social responsibilities of an industrial enterprise should extend even beyond serving people to the environment. This need is now fairly well recognized but there is still considerable scope for most industrial ventures to extend their support not only to human beings but also to the land to the forests to the waters to the creatures that inhabit them”.

Similarly, Shernaz Patel’s performance is extraordinary. The narrators make this book a memorable one. The book also reminded me of Langston Hughes’s poem,

“Hold fast to dreams
For if dreams die
Life is a broken-winged bird
That cannot fly ….”

J.R.D Tata’s life cannot be captured in a one-hour audiobook. He dreamed big and worked hard to make them real, He is the founder of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Air India, and more than 80 companies.

J.R. Tata said and I quote “I do not want India to be an economic superpower. I want India to be a happy country.” And this was the measure of his value system.

Great book and everybody will learn something new.

Any additional comments?
I read this book to understand the psychological and consumer behavior and off-course for pleasure. Cialdini’s book ‘Influence’, laid out six principles of persuasion. The book offers powerful explanations about the dangers of persuasive techniques in the wrong hands. The principles highlighted in the book are also helpful for managers and senior managers to run their organizations more effectively only if they apply these effectively. If you look closely, everybody knows these six principles [Reciprocity, Scarcity, Liking, Authority, Social Proof, and Commitment/Consistency] by heart. To me this book is inspired by ancient Bharat's historical learnings from Mahabharat and Ramayan [western world still uses additional ‘a’ in the spelling of these words which can also be interpreted as Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion of people].

I strongly recommend this book to better understand the Psychology of human being!
