Get to the point
Revisado: 11-26-23
This sounded like a different storyline, which it was, kind of. The author tried to create so many secrets and intrigues that you never got to the point. Who is really important, who are the true main characters. Is this story about one girl or several different people. There were too many side bars to really figure anything out. The supposed main character seems to be an a girl who keeps trying to find a place but even her friends are constantly letting her down. There really isn't a character that is likeable, not even the "main" girl. It was too frustrating for me to continue listening, which is too bad because I got the series. The narrator was ok, not her fault the story was so scattered and slow.

Historia
After returning from the basajaunak lands, it's clear that Jessie and her crew need to find an alliance quickly. They need to head to Kingsley's in less than a couple of months. If they go as they are, they'll never be enough to save Austin's brother from total annihilation. Luckily, Jessie has a pile of connection requests waiting for her attention. The gargoyle cairns want to meet her. She has an opportunity to gain a little help. Unluckily, the cairns don't have much interest beyond meeting the new kid on the block.

Fantastic Narrator
Revisado: 04-08-23
I love K.F. Breene, she's a fantastic author who creates great characters and awesome stories. Nicole Poole is the best audible narrator as far as I'm concerned. Having Poole be the narrator for the amazing characters of Breene's creation is the perfect combination. Totally worth every penny to listen to anything done by both of them.

Historia
Jack Diller is just one more struggling actor on the road to nowhere. He’s got an agent who barely remembers his name, his ex-girlfriend has hooked up with a Silicon Valley dude, and the milk in his fridge is so far past its sell-by date it’s historic. The only way Jack can scrape together a bare existence is by delivering food to exactly the types of successful people he wishes he could be. Then, one day, a very strange audiobook shows up on his phone.

Different in a good way
Revisado: 03-03-23
I love Wil Wheaton as a narrator, and Ron Perlmam was perfect for this role. The beginning of the book went on a little long, and it took a bit to get interesting. However, once it picks up, I had to finish it all the way through in one sitting. Very different story, great plot and likable characters. Drives home the message: life is all about hard work and the choices we make.

Historia
Leaving my husband was hard. Trying to face the world alone with my teenage daughter is the sort of thing nightmares are made of, but I caught a break. My best friend just hired me for a great job, with perks like a rent-free house right beside not just one handsome man, but five! Each one is hotter than the last, and all of them seem interested in me. But everyone around us has these strange golden eyes...and there are the questions no one will answer. And who cares if there's a lot of wildlife running around at night? I do, especially when a wolf keeps sneaking into my backyard.

Good storyline
Revisado: 03-05-22
The narrators for this book were good. The story was very predictable but still good. Different from the typical shifter storyline. I was entertained.

Historia
My five boyfriends - yes, five - are being much too patient with me. That's pissing a few people off. It seems that when living with a pack of wolves, there are certain expectations for the alpha's mate...and I suck at this. A few months ago, I had no idea shifters even existed! I just wanted a safe home, and this is it, although it's not at all what I imagined. When an ex-girlfriend decides to make my life a living hell, pack rules say that if I want to keep my place, I need to win my own fights. That's not easy when she's young, fit, beautiful, and a wolf. And I'm not.

Got old quick
Revisado: 03-05-22
I listened to the first book and saw the end coming. But it was an endgame story so I got the second book. Not into it. The main character's concerns and internal monologs got old quick. I got sick of her. Couldn't even get half way through. The narrators were great so it made me sad to stop listening, Elena was just too much. sorry.

Refreshing new find
Revisado: 06-26-21
The story is not your typical storyline. It was different yet entertaining with fun characters. The narrator made the story so much better. Her voice is not whiny or nasal. She does a great job at doing accents and male/ female characters.

Starts slow but it's worth the wait
Revisado: 02-23-17
The story starts off quite slow. I put it down a few times. However, once it gets going it's a great fantasy mixed with a boy becoming a man. I really enjoyed this story. The narrator is fantastic!

OK but unnecessarily long
Revisado: 01-12-17
The narrator was great, I really enjoyed listening to her tell the story. The story, however, was far too long when it didn't need to be. The author takes too much time describing irrelevant things. The plot was interesting and refreshingly different.
