Historia
It’s 1984, and life has changed beyond recognition. Airstrip One, formerly known as Great Britain, is a place where Big Brother is always watching, and nobody can hide. Except, perhaps, for Winston Smith. Whilst working at the Ministry of Truth, rewriting history, he secretly dreams of freedom. And in a world where love and sex are forbidden, where it’s hard to distinguish between friend and foe, he meets Julia and O’Brien and vows to rebel.

Amazing performance
Revisado: 12-24-24
The sound design and voice acting was really compelling and lovely. It drew me in and left me feeling emotional as if I was there with the characters.

Historia
Since the 1970s, FantasticLand has been the theme park where "Fun is Guaranteed!" But when a hurricane ravages the Florida coast and isolates the park, the employees find it anything but fun. Five weeks later, the authorities who rescue the survivors encounter a scene of horror. Photos soon emerge online of heads on spikes outside of rides and viscera and human bones littering the gift shops, breaking records for hits, views, likes, clicks, and shares.

A great visual through vocals
Revisado: 10-30-24
I really enjoyed how the actors made me feel when listening to the characters' stories. They each sounded diverse and made me feel like I was with the characters throughout their experience.

Historia
Ji-won’s life tumbles into disarray in the wake of her Appa’s extramarital affair and subsequent departure. Her mother, distraught. Her younger sister, hurt and confused. Her college freshman grades, failing. Her dreams, horrifying… yet enticing. In them, Ji-won walks through bloody rooms full of eyes. Succulent blue eyes. Salivatingly blue eyes. Eyes the same shape and shade as George’s, who is Umma’s obnoxious new boyfriend. George has already overstayed his welcome in her family’s claustrophobic apartment.

The story gave me a very squeezey feeling.
Revisado: 10-08-24
I like the characterization of the main character (specifically her fall to darkness) but I dislike how the story (vocals) sometimes "jumped" or "skipped" (this is probably an issue with the recording).

I liked the characters the most
Revisado: 02-21-24
I find the characters very funny and I liked their reactions to every situation. I do have some questions to the mysteries in the story but I presume the other volumes will solve them.

Historia
Regent Academy has a long and storied history in Winslow, Vermont, as does the forest that surrounds it. The school is known for molding teens into leaders, but its history is far more nefarious. Seventeen-year-old Douglas Jones wants nothing to do with Regent's king-making; he’s just trying to survive. But then a student is murdered and, for some reason, by the next day no one remembers him having ever existed, except for Douglas and the groundskeeper's son, Everett Everley.

I enjoyed the story telling and the characters.
Revisado: 02-01-24
I liked the pacing and character development of the story. My one dislike, however, was the narrator's inflection. He did a good job speaking overall but when it comes to speaking as certain characters (specifically Douglas), he tends to shift his tone, which becomes confusing when he is talking to someone else. For example, Douglas has a soft, almost meek-like voice while Everett has a deep, rough and commanding voice. So whenever the narrator is speaking as the former while talking to the latter, it becomes confusing when the tone of his Douglas voice goes deeper and he starts to sound like Everett and it makes me believe that Everett is talking when he is not (this even happens when he internally monologues as Douglas). Other than that I really enjoyed the story.
