Sarah is in a loving relationship with Paul, a man she hopes to one day marry and start a family with, until his untimely death turns her world upside down. Trying to come to terms with her loss, Sarah finds comfort in looking through Paul's old things, including his laptop and his emails. But Sarah begins to discover things about her late partner that she never knew before, and it seems he wasn't as perfect as she thought. As she unravels more about his secretive past, she ends up learning things that not only break her heart, but that the police would be interested to know too.

Incredibly slow
Revisado: 08-24-24
I really tried to get through this one but the plot moves way too slow, and the narrator sounds like she’s narrating an episode of America’s Most Wanted. Or Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous

Historia
The perfect neighborhood can be the perfect place to hide… Who wouldn’t want to live in Brighton Hills? This exclusive community on the Oregon coast is the perfect mix of luxury and natural beauty. Stunning houses nestle beneath mighty Douglas firs, and lush backyards roll down to the lakefront. It’s the kind of place where neighbors look out for one another. Sometimes a little too closely…

The narrator is pretty bad
Revisado: 02-22-23
The story might be ok but I’ll never know…Could only listen to the first hour, I just couldn’t handle the narrators over exaggerated performance. Sounded like she was reading a Disney princess story to children.

Liked it, didn't love it
Revisado: 07-02-15
Overall good story, I liked the twists in this book, went through a range of emotions listening to it! However, fellas accent seemed really forced at times and over the top. I love Sebastian York as woods... But not when he did Dellas voice- especially during the graphic parts... Kind of sounded creepy. I just fast forwarded through those. Still a good story and I enjoyed it!
