Historia
It’s a beautiful day in Newport, Rhode Island, when Phoebe Stone arrives at the grand Cornwall Inn wearing a green dress and gold heels, not a bag in sight, alone. She's immediately mistaken by everyone in the lobby for one of the wedding people, but she’s actually the only guest at the Cornwall who isn’t here for the big event. Phoebe is here because she’s dreamed of coming for years—she hoped to shuck oysters and take sunset sails with her husband, only now she’s here without him, at rock bottom, and determined to have one last decadent splurge on herself.

Historia
When a new family moves in across the street - the exuberant Vicki, who just might become the gossipy best friend Phoebe's always wanted, and her handsome college-bound son, Jake, who offers companionship of a different variety - Phoebe finds her dull routine infused with the excitement she's been missing. But with her head turned she's no longer focused on the woman in the car. And she really should be.

Don't bother
Revisado: 06-13-23
I can finish nearly anything and get something out of it. I struggled to finish this. This book was unbearable. It was so far out there that none of it was a believable story line. The author is all over the place with bits of this and that and none of it connects well.. The characters aren't well developed nor are any of them likeable on any way. They really aren't unlikable either for the most part. I dragged myself through to near the end and promptly returned it. As far as the narrator- she was fine, but she wasn't given anything to work with.

Best crime podcast with no personal interruptions or side stories!

Great podcast
Revisado: 07-08-22
This is one of my favorite podcasts. I'm fussy about what I listen to and Sandi has a pleasant and smooth voice. She has a great way of telling a story. She keeps it interesting and throws in little details. My only complaint is she needs make them longer. ;) I can't get enough!
