Historia
No sooner have Emma and Eadric turned back into humans (from being frogs) than Emma's mother flies into a panic. Aunt Grassina is distracted because she's found her true love turned into an otter, and Emma's magic is so out of control she sends herself to the dungeon by mistake. The neighboring kingdom has chosen this moment to attack, and if Emma can't get Grassina's mind back on protecting the kingdom, life as they know it in Greater Greensward will be in peril.

A happy witch story?
Revisado: 06-15-07
Ok, it was cute and the narrator is pretty good. She really pulls you in. I love the singing sword.
I can surely see Hollywood screwing this one up as a movie. Let's hope not.
This is a young adult's book but interesting enough for old adults too.

Historia
Returning to the territory he so brilliantly explored in his masterful New York Times best seller American Gods, the incomparable Neil Gaiman offers up a work of dazzling ingenuity, a kaleidoscopic journey deep into myth that is at once startling, terrifying, exhilarating, and fiercely funny, a true wonder of a novel that confirms Stephen King's glowing assessment of the author as "a treasure house of story, and we are lucky to have him."

Interesting Listen
Revisado: 06-20-06
The story was pretty interesting and unique. The narrator stole the show though. He kept me engrossed and switched between American and British accents. I will look for more books by both the author and narrator. I listened to this book while commuting and found myself sitting in the car waiting for a breaking point. And now I know why birds eat spiders.
