Historia
Evelyn has advanced leaps and bounds beyond anyone in the Crowned Islands, but in the world outside, she's still near the bottom of the food chain-a mere Category 0 in a world where the monstrous Titans outclass her ten-thousandfold. And unfortunately for her, it seems as if there are even more people out here who want her dead.

Sequel was better
Revisado: 11-04-24
Narrated well and had a more developed story, particularly the later portion. Better character development for both main and supporting roles. Paced well. Improved writing compared to the first. Interested in what the next in series holds.

Historia
Upon awakening in an abandoned lab, Evelyn is empowered by a system that grants her bloody magical powers in exchange for finishing missions and consuming her enemies. She knows one truth: no matter the cost, she will advance. She'll manipulate allies and spread demonic corruption with a smile if that's what it takes to level up. Her first mission is to escape the lab's other newly born creations. But once she steps foot into the world outside of the lab, she must contend with people who forbid her existence and who will work to eradicate those with her powers from the face of the planet.

About what I expected. Series has potential.
Revisado: 11-02-24
Minus some over justification of actions or circumstances, it was a good story with a different view of an MC for its genre. Paced well and narrated very well, I enjoyed it and will be continuing with the next in series. The author has done well in leaving just enough curiosities to pursue but also answering many during the unfolding of the story.

Historia
Joe and the Dwarves are doing more than surviving in the harsh climate of Jotunheim: they’re thriving. The Ritualist’s improvements to their defenses are paying dividends; and he’s hailed as a genius for ending threats before they come into striking distance of the burgeoning City. Every day, the Town expands further, allowing for more facilities, a larger population, and drawing in ever-more monsters.

Great story and performance
Revisado: 12-10-23
Great story that felt balanced in all that I look forward to in this series. Action, humor, character and skill developments, the oddities of Jackson and other side characters, system responses, etc. Luke Daniels with an amazing performance for this arc. I highly anticipate the next part of Joe's journey.

Amazing series!
Revisado: 10-11-23
Series is definitely in my top 3. Can't wait for the next releases. Don't want to spoil anything but had several gratifying moments in this one.
Narrator does such a great job bringing characters to life and portraying their thoughts and emotions through each book, incorporating changes as characters develop.

Historia
In a world full of super powers, Felix has a pretty crappy one. He has the ability to modify any item he owns. To upgrade anything. Sounds great on paper. Almost like a video game. Except that the amount of power it takes to actually change, modify, or upgrade anything worthwhile is beyond his abilities. With that in mind, Felix settled into a normal life. A normal job. His entire world changes when the city he lives in is taken over by a super villain. Becoming a country of one city. A city state.

Historia
Joe and humanity as a whole messed up pretty badly, managing to get some of the most important people from both the Elven and Dwarven races killed. Now the war is escalating to unprecedented levels, and only one side needs to worry about being slain. With the attackers knowing they can get right back up after dying, they are throwing themselves against their centuries-long foe without caring for the consequences. As the death toll rises, there’s still hope for Joe and the people that he chose to align himself with.

Getting back on track from book 7
Revisado: 04-14-23
Narration is much better as compared to book 7. Story actually progresses with some fun events and dialogue. Seems like author and narrator are listening to feedback provided by the community. I would hope the next book released will be a more appropriate length, as well as tie up several of the loose ends and develop the core characters more. I'm looking forward to the next release.

Historia
Artorian shrugged off moonfall and war like it was a gentle rain and must now face new trials. Specifically: life in the world created by the Dungeon Core, Cal. Unfortunately, Cal has only put together the most bare-bones of systems. He's no stranger to solving near impossible problems; how difficult could it be to smooth out the slew of angry Mages with bitter rivalries, uncountable hidden secrets, a complete inability to cultivate, and a Dungeon creating messes at full speed? One way or another, it is up to Artorian to pick up the pieces.

Historia
After his town is put to the sword and the children are taken to replace the fallen, an old man is out for revenge. He’s ready to fail at the most difficult challenge in the world: cultivation. Too corrupted to even take the first steps, the sly old elder simply agreed with those who told him that it was impossible. Then, he quietly ignored them, rubbed his hands together, and started anyway. He had always failed in what he did. The only thing that had never failed him was his sharp mind and philosophy. He would cultivate...no matter what it cost him.
