LISTEN! YOU WONT REGRET IT

Best stories. Something for everyone. They are gracious, victim focused and I love the way they end each episode by pulling us back out of the horrific and into positive.

Historia
Maddie and Ian’s love story began with a chance encounter at a party overseas; he was serving in the British army, and she was a travel writer visiting her best friend, Jo. Now, almost two decades later, married with a beautiful son, Charlie, they are living the perfect suburban life in Middle America. But when a camping accident leaves Maddie badly scarred, she begins attending writing therapy, where she gradually reveals her fears about Ian’s PTSD; her concerns for the safety of their young son; and the couple’s tangled and tumultuous past with Jo.

Amazing Listen!!!
Revisado: 07-26-20
This was a great psychological thriller. The twists and turns were great. This book kept me on my toes and invested in the story and plot lying the entire time.

From an acclaimed Harvard professor and one of Time’s most influential people, this paradigm-shifting audiobook shows how almost everything we think we know about aging is wrong, offers a front-row seat to the amazing global effort to slow, stop, and reverse aging, and calls listeners to consider a future where aging can be treated.

fantastically informative and inspiring
Revisado: 01-15-20
This book is informative and each chapter is a great read. I'm inspired for the future and to treat the world better knowing I can be a part of that future.

Historia
Seventy years ago, Erwin Schrdinger posed a simple, yet profound, question: What is life?. How could the very existence of such extraordinary chemical systems be understood? This problem has puzzled biologists and physical scientists both before, and ever since. Living things are hugely complex and have unique properties, such as self-maintenance and apparently purposeful behaviour which we do not see in inert matter. So how does chemistry give rise to biology?

Painfully drawnout
Revisado: 12-21-17
There is about 1 hour of solidly good information in this book. I listened to the end because I wanted the content, however it was intermixed drawn out explanations without useful content. 99% of the useful information is summarized in the last chapter.
