Simply a Great series

if you like book 1... book 2 and beyond get better. just finished book 8 and decided to go back and do a couple reviews. I don't do very many reviews and to now go back to book 1 and 2 and review, is unique. don't need to review book 3 and beyond since you will already know if you like the series by then.

My favorite audio book series

I have now listened to books 1-8 and hands down my favorite series. listened to 1-6 twice already. thinking about starting from the beginning again. it may not be for everyone, but I it is well written and performed. not sure how much the author planned the entire series, but it seems seamless in the progression.

Continued progression of Matt, Liz, and Aster

the story quality continues to impress. listened to all the books beginning to end twice already. with book 8, now it is time to listen to it again, but through book 8. I have listened to over a hundred audio books and this series remains my favorite.

like the OP healer and how it works

Like the unusual class progression of a healer. The story progresses smoothly, some of the fights are occasionally a little long but with a purpose and mc rational seems reasonable. i like litrpg stories in general and like the author's other dungeon stories as well.

pleasantly surprised

1/3 through the book (just getting to university) and pleasantly surprised. I think the reviews are generally correct, even the ones that have the lower star rating, but i dont agree with the low rating. I expect it to slow down based on the reviews. if you are wanting a fast pace monster burn with an obvious end goal, you might be a little disappointed, but the character progression seems more reasonable. it is a nice counterpoint. let's see how the next 1/3 progresses.

start of a fun series

saw reviews both ways. this is a slower progression than my typical litrpg and a little longer. it is not entirely predictable and a nice change of pace. will I buy the next in the series...yes. I am glad the primary characters are not overpowered and depend on eachother. I personally liked the story. hope my review helps. I rarely make one

alot of twists and turns in the story including some setbacks which was a nice change of.pace. His leveling up was a little overpowered but it made for an interesting comparison to his previous experience building a character. overall, it was an easy listen and a fun one.
