I have loved every word for this series and it is so fitting that today marks three years since this beautiful book has met the world. Throughout this series, we see Asher's love for Ember. He never gave up hope that Ember would wake up. But he struggles to accept that she isn't the wife he remembers. Ember has to learn everything again plus to know that the beautiful man who visits her every day is her husband. This book is a roller coaster of emotions from the beginning. But I loved seeing Ember accept who she is now. This is one series that I can't put down and will continue to revisit.

Am I a sucker for best friends, brother to a lover? Is it worse when you know it’s a zero-angst book? Yes, but that is what I love when I know I am picking up any book from Charlie Novak. I loved when Spencer realized that he wasn’t looking at men in the gym to see their form. He found them attractive, but the one person who pushes all the right buttons is his brother's best friend. Noah is a disaster in the kitchen, but when he comes up with an idea to have Spencer teach him how to make cupcakes, nothing can go wrong. Can Noah push down everything that he has always felt for Spencer? Who knew buttercream could be seductive?

Holiday fun

This is a great Holiday pick me up when you need to return to our favorite characters. Robbie and Logan will always steal the show for me in anything they are in. They are just larger-than-life characters that can’t be held back from anything. Mix in characters from Preslock, Fallen Angel, and Elite. You have a tremendously heartwarming book. That makes anyone want to jump back and read their books. This is one book to know the characters before reading or start reading them if you don’t.

Two of our favorite people.

I have been putting off reading about Cole and Rachel because we have a particular image of our favorite in-laws. However, this was one that I knew I needed to read this week. Getting the pieces of Rachel’s past was something that makes anyone’s heartbreak. To know that she was only living in the shell of the person she used to be. But for Cole to come along and follow her rules for a night and then change the game. The image that we had of the pair turns up a notch to know what Cole hides under his suits. Talk about hot; turn that up a notch by never looking at a bottle of wine the same way. Make sure to keep water handy as the pages of this book are turned up to scorching in true Ella fashion.

New Series

Welcome to Charlie’s new series in Heather Bay. We got a small taste with a short at the beginning of the year, but I am excited to see a new set of characters. Oliver and Lane are so cute together. I love how they try not to want to be around each other and are so drawn together. I love the slow burn and no angst of this book. Then Lane realizes that Oliver won’t have a kitchen for much longer than he anticipated. He offers his place as somewhere to stay. They find a rhythm that keeps pulling them together. I loved this sweet read and can’t wait for more. The audio was fantastic.

Great series and comfort read

This is one of the series that I always come back to. Now that I have it on Audible, it makes it that much easier to start it on a whim. Ryder and Max have had chemistry for months, but it takes a bold move on Ryder’s part for anything to happen. Max knows that he shouldn’t get involved with his principal for both of their safety. But Ryder is just that irresistible.

This was the first book that had several firsts. The author and both narrators are new to me. But I have to say the writing and story were beautiful, and the way the narrators brought the characters to life was terrific. I am ready to dive in and listen to the rest of this series.

I loved reading this book at first, but listening to it was even better. Tim Paige and Gomez Pugh bring Travis and Dylan to life. They are opposites attract who had one night. But have danced around each other for years. Trav will do anything and everything that he can to protect Dylan, no matter the cost. We see some of our favorite team members back and lots of explosions. It wouldn’t be Mike Bravo without them. I can’t wait for more from this series.

Great mini series

I ended up listening to this series and I am so happy I did. The book is broken down into different parts and shows Sebastian from when he was turned to the present. We are introduced to several characters over the years, like Lorenzo. The pair manage to find each other several times over the years. But they are not fated for each other. I was drawn to all the characters as Sebastian moved throughout the world. But he was never found his place until the last book. I wasn’t wrong when I said that TL Travis could write anything, and this book shows that. We need a little more from Sebastian.

The narrator did an amazing job at keeping the tones different for each of the characters. and when someone spoke before mentioning the name you knew who it was.

Love this world

I grabbed the audio version of this book a few times; I laughed out loud several times. This book can be read alone and will make you want to go back and discover everyone in the Licking Thicket. I love Quinn's sass in this book and how he keeps reminding Champ that he left his dog with him again. Neither one wants a relationship, but somehow, they make a fake one to help Champ retrieve a stolen item. I love this world and the characters from the Thicket. I can’t wait to go back.
