It’s very boring and to be honest was probably mind blowing for the 1600 century .. however for the modern time I think it’s not relevant .. I am glad I read it however I will never read it again .. once is enough .

Great book and Great for firefighters
Revisado: 12-23-22
I am a retired firefighter and I had to leave my profession because of ptsd .. a lot of people don’t realize but the leading cause of death for firefighters is suicide it’s higher than our in-line of duty deaths and well it’s a dangerous job .. in my career I saw between 500-600 people dead or killed .. and well it led me to 4 treatment centers in one year .. and well we come to this book and we’ll it was a amazing journey to read/ listen to the book cause I kept thinking of my time with my therapist and it was almost like I got to relive it from a third person perspective .. and I got as much out of that as I did from the first time in therapy .. I love my therapist and I love my life … now .. as a firefighter I was told I was a hero and I can tell you I never really liked it cause I never felt like a hero .. I can tell you this though my therapist is my hero .. and she saved my life .. and this book reminded me of that challenging time and how we worked through it together I grew from the experience and am better for it .. so yea the book was awesome .. so I give it a 5/5 stars

Historia
More people need to step up. When we take responsibility for making change wherever we can, not only does it make our companies, communities, and the world better, but we are happier and more successful and have more fulfilling relationships. But all too often, we stop ourselves before we start. The problems seem too daunting, it’s another department’s responsibility, other people are the issue and we can’t change them, and so on. And so nothing ever changes.

Another book about Jesus
Revisado: 05-23-21
Well I suffer ptsd from the fire service . I thought this book would give me a different per Perspective unfortunately God came into some of the good stories that were in this book. I love the fact that I love hearing call he Coke and go with the tragedies that entail that line of work it reminded me and Mika however I wish you would’ve stuck to that I’m not made it a book about Jesus

I thought the book was good not great . I think that it repeats itself several times but with that being said it gives you a lot of good insight, in other words it attacks the same topics from a bunch of different directions which give you new ideas and different ways of looking at things ..

But that's OK - delusions keep us sane. You Are Not So Smart is a celebration of self-delusion. It's like a psychology class, with all the boring parts taken out, and with no homework. Based on the popular blog of the same name, You Are Not So Smart collects more than 46 of the lies we tell ourselves everyday.

This is an average book
Revisado: 07-22-20
Let’s book wasn’t bad and it wasn’t great. This is a good starter book for getting on the path to getting your life on track. If you are a self-help guru such as myself this is a very elementary book and yes there were some great points in it and some value that I took but it was very limited and it’s an explanation. I like more in-depth books with data and facts and not just good feelings. I know that the things in this book work because I’ve researched them and read many other books. Overall I would give this book a medium review. Hope this helps
