Historia
The French called it La Forteresse Maudite, the Cursed Fortress. Louisbourg stood at the mouth of the Gulf of St. Lawrence, massive and impregnable, a permanent provocation to the British colonies. It was Canada’s first line of defence, guarding the approaches to Quebec, from where all New France lay open to invasion.

Been loving the series ever since I first discovered it!
If I could levy any criticism, it is this: I don't *love* David Pusey's performance. Every now and then, he makes a mistake on pronunciation or cadence that takes me out of the narrative - still better than I could do though!

Historia
Here is an impassioned plea for reason in a world divided by faith. This important and timely work delivers a startling analysis of the clash of faith and reason in today's world. Harris offers a vivid historical tour of mankind's willingness to suspend reason in favor of religious beliefs, even when those beliefs are used to justify harmful behavior and sometimes heinous crimes.

A great listen

Did Brian Emerson do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
The only problem is that much of this would have sounded much better in the voice of the author, as he does have a very distinct speaking style; which he translates to text very faithfully (its a pun, get it?)
