If they're going to be overpowered then let them when! Otherwise they come off as stupid for always being beaten to a palp before he wins out of luck or help.

You gave it such a strong title and then the wimpyest character I've read in a long time. Then you got the wimpyest sounding narrator you could find! I'm frustrated because it's a good story and if you didn't make him take so much unnecessary damage, you would have a 5 star book.

There's no reason to call this litrpg. Never really let us calculate or see his advance. He had almost no ambition. He pretty much fell into everything. There was way too much details & very little action. Even the action had too much detail. The sad thing is that it had a great story line potential but his lack of ambition made the story suck.

I like when a book has a likable main character & the focus isn't diluted with other strong characters.
