Getting a bit tiresome

First and foremost I love the premise of this book and how it started I do intend to listen to All of the audiobooks provided but I got to say at this point Alex the main character is becoming tiresome another person said he unilaterally uses the threat of force or actual Force to bypass laws that he feels inconvenient and everybody around him bows down to it a wholeheartedly agree with that.

The only way in my mind that this makes sense is if later on down the line the main character Alex actually becomes the villain if he doesn't become the villain then all these books will just simply have the repetitious cycle of him deeming whatever moral ground he stands on is where everyone else should be and everyone else should get in line or he has the authority to physically emotionally or verbally threatened them to get in line, it doesn't make any sense and it doesn't make for a likable character long-term again unless he becomes the ultimate villain in the end kind of like that saying you can bow out while you are famous or you can watch yourself become infamous

sets up the next series if there will be any perfectly. the voice acting was great even going back and forth between the two authors it wasn't off putting when they did the same characters story was awesome didn't feel like this was a filler or a stretch it really felt like the end of one saga in the beginning of a new world / cosmos opening up great world building

love the story, but the voices?!?

let me start by saying Mark Thompson is the absolute best Star wars audiobook narrator there is hands down.. for some reason though he decided to do this southern western draw cowboy hickish type voice for all of the Chiss. not sure why he chose to do that but after having set the tone with thrawn and the other higher up myth it just sounded off. previously done a voice that was more serpentine-esque and more elitist and I think that fit a little bit better for them.
other than that the book was great as usual

At first listening I was like okay Wesley Snipes is creating another 'blade' but 'not blade' storyline, but man after getting into it and listening to it I could completely see this being a movie and I woukd be all for it!

how are we supposed to get into this book... are we supposed to be empathetic to the group of imperialists that we know from the star wars arc are the 'bad guys'?!?

Come on, slow story, not even politically interesting, barley and action. litterally a forced tacked on live story (sen). smh worst SW audio book ive ever listened to

The politics of moral action, where does empathy stop. as usual this book deals straight to the heart of many matters I really enjoyed the philosophical view of arguing The Devil's Advocate position

Quite frankly the best book in the entire 'cycle'

all the characters have matured you know and love them all and the plot while seemingly insane is not so extraordinary as first glance. this book leaves you with a yearning for the rest of the story a real nail biter

great fantasy, need more of this. it was very enjoyable I wish we could read else deeper into this world and find out maybe 10, 20 years in the future how all the characters are fairing
