Historia
Following its initial appearance in serial form, Stephen Crane's The Red Badge of Courage was published as a complete work in 1895 and quickly became the benchmark for modern antiwar literature. In the character of Henry Flemming, Stephen Crane provides a great and realistic study of the mind of an inexperienced soldier trapped in the fury and turmoil of war. Flemming dashes into battle, at first tormented by fear, then bolstered with courage in time for the final confrontation.

Slow storyline, but interesting
Revisado: 03-02-19
Bought the audio for daughter to listen to for a reading assignment. She had a hard time following. I would suggest listening while reading at the same time. There is a-lot of dialogue and it was hard to follow at times. Overall I thought story was interesting, even though not something I would normally listen to.

Historia
Guy Montag is a fireman. In his world, where television rules and literature is on the brink of extinction, firemen start fires rather than put them out. His job is to destroy the most illegal of commodities, the printed book, along with the houses in which they are hidden. Montag never questions the destruction and ruin his actions produce, returning each day to his bland life and wife, Mildred, who spends all day with her television "family."

Interesting story
Revisado: 11-29-17
My daughter had to read this book and compare it to Hunger Games. Reading Hunger Games first she found this story a but boring. I however had never read it before and had always heard good reviews if the book. I do admit that I found Hunger Games a bit more interesting, but this was not a bad story. Listening to it kept both my attention and my eleven year old. Storyline was easy to follow.
