Highly recommend
Revisado: 09-11-24
The story is a multidimensional caption of life during the pandemic and a time of political unrest. A great book for bookclub conversation.
It is rare a book touches me emotionally on so many levels as this book. I sit in my cubicle as tears drop remembering the deaths during the pandemic. Then anger towards the ineffective social service and political systems. I am a single mother raising a black male so live in fear every day. I pray daily for America.
Invisible Man by Kim Johnson is a must read.

Two women. Many aliases. Meg Williams. Maggie Littleton. Melody Wilde. Different names for the same person, depending on the town, depending on the job. She's a con artist who erases herself to become whoever you need her to be—a college student. A life coach. A real estate agent. Nothing about her is real. She slides alongside you and tells you exactly what you need to hear, and by the time she's done, you've likely lost everything.

A wonderful story
Revisado: 08-02-23
A lot of twists and turns made the story exciting. It is a page turner.
My only concern was sometimes in the audible performance it was difficult to distinguish the two women voices. It was hard to determine which female character was narrating. The voices were too similar.
Otherwise an excellent and well told thriller. I highly recommend.

Well done
Revisado: 11-29-18
The story is well done. The story is entertaining. Trevor Noah masterfully does the voices of various characters in his story. He intermingles history with entertainment. His story is relatable to everyone raised in the hood; regardless of the country.
