One of those books you hate to see end

I loved the storyline and how it was told. Streep was perfect for the reader and main character. I put off the purchase due to some of the reviews, but they seemed to be more that they liked this book less than others by the author, so I decided since I'd never read anything by this author I'd give it a try. I will be reading more if this wasn't her best.

Very seldom do I not like a book and I typically love historical fiction. My problem with this one may have been the reader. I kept coming across some tidbit of information in the book that I thought could keep me going, but find myself dreading my commute listen. Going to have to give up on this one.

interesting from Beginning to End

I have found it hard to listen to business or research type books and rarely go the audible route for these types of books. This book was different. This is well researched and offers new ways to look at issues and news stories. Thoroughly enjoyed the author's approach to presenting the book. Highly recommended.

King is probably one of my favorite authors, so I was excited to hear a book read by him. I actually found his voice and pacing a bit off putting at first, but once I got used to it, I really enjoyed both the book and the delivery.

Lots of twists and great characters

Really enjoyed this book with one exception that I will cover in a moment. This book will keep you engaged, and the narrator does a nice job. There is good character development as well. For my exception - I am not one who likes to read, or in this case hear, blow by blow (literally) love scenes which this book had a couple. Still, the book was good enough for me to stay with the book. Would definitely recommend if you like mysteries.
