Historia
PhD candidate Phoebe Walsh has always been obsessed with true crime. She's even analyzing the genre in her dissertation—if she can manage to finish writing it. It's hard to find the time while she spends the summer in Florida, cleaning out her childhood home, dealing with her obnoxiously good-natured younger brother, and grappling with the complicated feelings of mourning a father she hadn't had a relationship with for years.

I tried to be supportive of Phoebe I did…..
Revisado: 10-22-23
I give this book 3.5 ⭐️
•
What I liked about this book was that it was funny and that the FMC was able to joke about herself and was able to keep true to who she was when the book started…. I liked the love story between Phoebe and Sam and was really trying to going along with her but she just kept making it so hard.
•
What I did not like about this book was that Phoebe self sabotage a lot in this book and she was kind annoying me with her hot and cold mood towards her relationship with Sam. But other than that I enjoyed the book.

All this cause a girl broke his heart
Revisado: 05-09-23
The main phrase I said during this audiobook was “what is happening” because I have never been more confused on a characters decision and actions then Coriolanus Snow.
Let me tell you this book is not a redemption arc.. this is book is something I’ll say that I’m what did I enjoy about this book. Lucy Gray Baird and that on everything, she did what she had to know and she killed it still confused on chapter 29-30 cause everything escalated with no warning. I’m still on the fact that he acts this way because he got his heart broken y’all.
This was a good book gave a different perspective on who President Snow was going up and dare I say some moments I was rooting for him and kicking my feet giggling and then other moments I was like you are delusional and create stories in your head to fit the narrative.
Can’t wait for the movie on Thanksgiving so excited. Highly recommend the audiobook to reading the narrator did a good job channeling President Snow.

Historia
Jennette McCurdy was six years old when she had her first acting audition. Her mother’s dream was for her only daughter to become a star, and Jennette would do anything to make her mother happy. So she went along with what Mom called “calorie restriction." She endured extensive at-home makeovers while Mom chided, “Your eyelashes are invisible, okay? You think Dakota Fanning doesn’t tint hers?” She was even showered by Mom until age sixteen while sharing her diaries, email, and all her income. In I’m Glad My Mom Died, Jennette recounts all this in unflinching detail.

Story about Healing
Revisado: 02-28-23
I’m Glad My Mom Died is a memoir about Jennette McCurdy life told by her through this story she talks about her acting career and the emotional, mental and physical abuse endured from her mom. While also recounting the events that followed after her mothers passing.
•
This was the first memoir I’ve ever read and I’m so glad I decided to read/listen to it because as someone who grew up watching her on Nickelodeon you only see side portrayed the side that is appropriate for media to see; but being able to listen to the behind the scenes and hear Jeanette herself tell us her side was so heartbreaking to listen to. There were times I’ve wanted to just give her a hug through the audio and there were time I was taken back about the things her mother did.
•
But what I really enjoyed was listening to the healing and recovery that she started and continued on through out the story and just the fact healing is not linear and that everybody heals in their own way and in their own time.
•
If you haven’t listened to the audiobook of I’m Glad My Mom Died then I highly suggest you do because you get another emotion to it that you wouldn’t get while reading the book yourself.
