Historia
The day that Dr. Andrew G. Huff left his senior scientist and vice president role at EcoHealth Alliance was one of the happiest days of his life due to the corruption he had witnessed at the organization. However, he never thought working there would be of any great consequence to the future. He was wrong. Because, as an EcoHealth Alliance insider, Dr. Huff had had a ringside seat to one of the biggest cover-ups in history.

Interesting start, terrifying content on evils of the system we pay for that is intentionally harming us
Revisado: 10-28-23
Andrew Huff starts with biographical history to frame his perspective. He goes into detail that’s credible and fairly verifiable, showing how we were attacked by our own government. Eye opening and anger generating for me.

Historia
Welcome to 2030. I own nothing, have no privacy, and life has never been better. This is the vision of the Great Reset, according to globalist leaders. While proponents of the Great Reset push slogans like “Build Back Better”, “The Fourth Industrial Revolution”, and “A New Normal”, the Reset is nothing short of a rebranded Soviet system, threatening to strip away property rights, restrict freedom of movement and association, and radically reshape our diets and way of life.

Sadly enlightening and informative
Revisado: 12-20-22
If you’d ask me 10 years ago, if any of the best possible, i would have said “no.” What we are currently witnessing is a previously unseen unimaginable global takeover. Morano does a great job of explaining much of it and providing some insight into actions we can take to stop it.

Historia
Newtonian physics described a regular, clock-like world of forces and reaction; randomness was equated with incomplete knowledge. But scientists in the late 20th century have found patterns in things formerly thought to be "chaotic"; their theories help explain the unstable, irregular, yet highly structured features of everyday experience. It now seems likely that randomness and chaos play an essential role in the evolution of the living world and in intelligence itself.

Gotta balance the other review. This was good.
Revisado: 08-05-09
There is a lot of information in this. I listened several times, gaining something new each time.
The "actors who employ various hokey accents" bugged me, like the previous reviewer, until I found out at the end that at least one of the voices was actually Ilya Prigogine, the Nobel Prize winning physical chemist who discovered much of the content. I was honored to have that voice.
There is a lot of information in this book. It bounces around many disciplines, attempting to weave biology, chemistry, physics, philosophy, and economics together to show common threads. This is tough to do and tough to digest. For me, it was worth it. I have to give it a five to balance out the previous reviewer's 1. I almost didn't get this because of that review. That would have been a shame.

Historia
In this updated edition of The Return of Depression Economics, Krugman shows how the failure of regulation to keep pace with an increasingly out-of-control financial system set the United States, and the world as a whole, up for the greatest financial crisis since the 1930s. He also lays out the steps that must be taken to contain the crisis, and turn around a world economy sliding into a deep recession.

Resting on his "Laureates"?
Revisado: 01-25-09
I spent 2 credits hoping it would be worth it. It was not. Many leaps of faith - especially claiming that WWII was a Keynesian stimulus. CCC and WPA were, but WWII? Also, suggests there is a simple solution to the problems of the day, but this Nobel Laureate doesn't tell us what it is. Let me try. Work hard, spend less, import less, export more. It's a global economy with global competition. Geez. He gets three because there is much worse out there, but definitely not what I expected.
