every sentENCE is READ like THIS. it IS so ODD. she acCENTS the latter END of random WORDS and every SENTENCE.
Totally takes away from the story. please don't use this narrator anymore.
The story is interesting, and that's the only reason I kept listening. wanted to hear how it would happen when they found out she was a girl. the narration is horrible.

okay so first off. this book literally touched places of my heart, of how I feel about love and life that I didn't even know you could find, let alone in a story.
the development and the story of charles martins stories are all so whole, they complete themselves so much, but this one left you with a lot more suspense and page turner quality than his other books (I like all of the ones I have read so far, but this is by far the most remarkable!).
I am so touched, and it leaves me wanting more from life and needing more in love. and with that, I don't want to say much more as I don't want to spoil it, but if you want an incredible, deeply emotional page turner life or death suspense, get this book. just be ready to be doing nothing else while listening because it takes all of your attention.
