This story is fantastic. Very enjoyable to see Valerie, Riker, and Keith, as they bungle a nightmare in space without the help of Maddox and Ludendorff. The vocals of Mark Boyett are worth the price of admission !!

What Happens When a Story Goes Too Long?

Scott Bartlett does an astounding job keeping this story straight. Mark Boyett does an even better, award-winning job in managing so darn many unique voices to bring the story to ultimate pain and realism. For the vocal performance this work is priceless !!

James Gets In Deep, Doesn’t Know It

Book 19 is a great piece of work, what with the amazing Mark Boyett bringing the many characters to life, in this Audible reading of the book. Too bad for me, the audio failed to sync to the Kindle book.

The McGill Creature Strikes (Out) Again

These Undying Mercenaries stories are a hoot to read. But to HEAR it as read by the amazing Mr Boyett is BETTER THAN A CGI ACTION MOVIE in a theater. Every audio character comes to life as if custom built by a Galactic flesh printer. Just fantastic!

Mark Boyer Brings This Series to Life !!

The “Lost ____” series is a marvelous collection of intricate sci-fi space adventures and I highly recommend the Kindle books. If you can spare the few duckers, however, get these Audible read-along titles as well. The voice acting provided by Mr Boyett is worth every centavo, it’s like listening to a major motion picture with unique actors doing their best.

Great Dramatic Read to Enhance the Write !

Barry Eisler is the best talent to read Barry Eisler titles. Since he knows what the characters should be thinking well in advance, the emotional content is generally great. Of course every additional mention of Nason makes me want to puke, but that’s just the way Mr Eisler wanted the sensitivity of character LL to show her vulnerability. The pace of the story was excellent. Voice acting of various characters was consistent across various books involving the same characters; makes the Audible version easier to enjoy, especially when heard in context with the loosely connected John Rain novels also written and read by barry Eisler. Thanks, dude, you rock books.

A Wild Ride

Daniel Suarez crafts a stunningly entertaining and eye opening drama. The Audible artist’s read is very much like a Nightly News report in style and delivery, and he is totally captivating. Well done! The level of theoretical science is impressive in its accuracy with just enough suspension of disbelief to keep the audience engaged. Will listen to it again once my blood pressure returns to normal. Whew!

Nice Segue Into the Movie “Aliens “

...And with just about as many great (voice) actors as that cinematic production. Plus it creates a couple possible storylines that veer away from the Ridley timeline.

Very Much Like a Movie Production

Pretty impressive production quality. It’s a fully dramatized vocal production complete with background music and sound effects that sound as good as you’ve heard on any Alien movie. Worth it’s weight in Weiland-Wutani entertainment credits!
