Historia
And the dead shall rise... Two hellish years. That's how long it's been since the hurricanes flooded the Gulf Coast, and the dead rose up from the ruins. The cities were quarantined; the infected, contained. Any unlucky survivors were left to fend for themselves. A feast for the dead. And the living shall gather... One boatload of refugees manages to make it out alive - but one passenger carries the virus. Within weeks, the zombie epidemic spreads across the globe.

Horrible Characters and Disgusting Plot
Revisado: 10-24-13
What disappointed you about Apocalypse of the Dead?
None of the characters are likable, and none of them are even believable. I don't even know how to explain how ridiculous and horrible it was. I almost want to ask audible for my money back, but I made the bad decision to get this one so I have to deal with that.
Someone else explained Ed Moore as a bad Clint Eastwood impression. Yeah, that. And on top of that, this fake Clint Eastwood's moral compass is broken, he seems to justify anything he wants. Then there is the Porn star and... how do I explain him? The scuzzy waste of skin guy she hooks up? Both were just horrible. And then there is a crazy religious cult? Just bad. Everything about this book was just plain bad.

Anti-Christian projections

Any additional comments?
I get it, you don't like Christianity, or religion in general. But enough already. Every Christian character in the book is a deranged Sociopath. The story was well written, but every couple of minutes he had to interject how that particular (or other Christian character) has some hidden ill intent, or lashes out at the group for some perceived harm done to them.
I hate to write bad reviews, but enough already with the twisted characters in zombie books. He obviously doesn't like Christianity, and he obviously has some issues he projects onto Christian characters in his book. I should have stopped with his first one, as that was bad enough, but this one was worse.
