The mispronunciation of Miami is exhausting!

Obviously since I’m writing a review for book 3 and a series I am invested…I thought it was kind of cute and clever how things from the old world were said phonetically. But after meeting the artificial intelligence from that era who also miss pronounced Miami again and again and again and again and again and again… It honestly drove me slightly crazy and obviously it also annoyed me! I guess I just got hung up on that mistake by either the Reader or the writer? It’s still a good listen but I won’t be buying book 4.

White Power, Homophobic, anti-abortion highly conservative writer

I’m shocked! I couldn’t finish this book because I found it so close minded and offensive! Parents allow their children to choose their sex? All the bad guys are people of color? You are writing about how choices are being taken away but yet you think that the majority of women use abortion as birth control? Give me a break your white privilege is shining so brightly throughout this writing! I love it how all of these white men try and tell us what to do with our bodies but yet they won’t get a vaccine or wear a mask! I’d also like to know how many children you have fostered in your life! I find it extremely alarming that so many people will show up to protest our choices with our bodies that yet they don’t have any foster children or unwanted children and they definitely don’t want to subsidize any single parent that’s trying to raise her children.

Entertaining and unique

I’ve listen to a lot of zombie books and I will say that I really enjoyed this one. I liked the uniqueness of the setting, the characters were well developed, along with the storyline! I did get this with my included on audible but I am also looking forward to book to which I am willing to pay for. I listen to a ton of audio books.
