Pretty good story, Annoying reading of it
Revisado: 02-24-17
Would you consider the audio edition of How to Murder Your Life to be better than the print version?
I didn't read the print version
Who was your favorite character and why?
It's a memoir, so Cat
How did the narrator detract from the book?
There was a lot of screeching and yelling (and puking) sound effects that I found really annoying and detracted from the story. Perhaps they would have worked in print but in audio, they just made me want to shut it off.
Any additional comments?
I enjoyed the reading aside from the screeching, but the screeching was so annoying that it brought the rating down from what would have been probably a 4 or so.

The Most Boring of the BDB Books
Revisado: 05-15-15
What disappointed you about The Shadows?
I really hoped that the shadow's story would be about the hard and tough characters that we met back a few books ago, but it was just... love story. All love story.
What was most disappointing about J.R. Ward’s story?
The story was probably about 80% Selena and Trez, and they were frankly, boring. I found Trez far more interesting back from Rhev's and Xhex's POVs, and I had really high hopes that their stories would be great, I'Am got shorted on his story, which could have been fantastic, and Trez got turned from a viscous shadow into a lovesick puppy, and it was frankly disappointing.
What about Jim Frangione’s performance did you like?
Talented narrator, I didn't listen to most of the previous books (I read them myself) so the names were off as compared to what I expected, but overall it was well done.
What character would you cut from The Shadows?
Selena? haha that would be a re-write.
Any additional comments?
I hope there are no more stories about the Chosen. They are boring (even Payne)

Welsh Fans Will Love It
Revisado: 01-30-14
Would you consider the audio edition of Skagboys to be better than the print version?
I actually would not, I enjoyed the listen, but as a Canadian not used to Scottish accents or slang, I think I missed a lot as compared to the other Welsh books I've read. I'll be giving this one a second listen to try and pick up what I missed.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Skagboys?
The moments where they are all just destroyed and miserable with withdrawl were unreal. So pathetic and desperate, the narration brought that all to life.
Everything with Maria was so awful but memorable.
Which scene was your favorite?
The rehab diaries
Who was the most memorable character of Skagboys and why?
Maria really sticks out in my memory, Her story is really heartbreaking.

The narrator did what she could with what she had
Revisado: 08-28-12
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
If it were a well written book with a plot that made sense.
Would you ever listen to anything by E. L. James again?
Absolutely not.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
None.
Any additional comments?
Save your money. This book is terribly written, the plot makes no sense, and even the numerous sex scenes are boring and repetitive.
