Historia
Billy Todd has always been different. Most people called him odd, and those were the nice people. Though he was born with a learning disability, Billy's parents never allowed him to consider himself disabled. Raised to be self-sufficient, Billy might not be as smart as some, but he was a lot smarter than people realized.

Unexpected!
Revisado: 01-22-23
Being honest, I found this book by accident mistaking it for Odd Thomas. Bought it and downloaded it without a second thought. Took a few months to get to it amongst other series I was reading. I loved it from chapter 3 till the end. It's fantastic, logical, practical, and entertaining.

This was painful...
Revisado: 03-08-21
I loved Ready Player One, book and movie for different reasons, so I was looking forward to this. I agree with many others in that it was slow to take off, and personally feel that it went too far in explaining things we could easily figure out. I'm still trying to understand how some people stated that Wil Wheaton was the only good thing about it and yet still have the book a perfect score. If there was anything in the book nearly as frustrating as the slow start, that would be the strange conclusion. There are books written suspenseful that end with no real loss but just the threat of loss. That was this book.
I will simply state that if you liked "The Last Jedi," than you will probably like this book, because they seem to want to take a beloved character and trash them to the point where you are justified in never liking them again. Apparently this is all done to say that no one is perfect, no one that is except the other people they would like to put on a pedestal this time around. I'm pretty sure if they wanted to make a book 3 they would invent a way to hat Og too, and if you're wondering, yes there's room for a 3, in fact there's room for infinity now, but I will let the book ruin that concept for you. This book made me appreciate the Movie more, and Wil is excellent in his narration though there are some references I don't think he got so he didn't express them very well. But over all I miss the days when people were subtle about trying to make you see the world the way they want you to see it. Where messages were subliminal instead of subpar. Just another book trying to tell you that there's only one way to think, and I'm a Liberal Minded person and I can't stand it.
Oh, and for those wondering... "YES, I WILL BE RETURNING IT!"

Revisado: 02-10-20
So much Potential, but fell flat. This book felt rush, and leaves so many questions unanswered. What about Zed, what about the traitorous Dragon, Why is Lusam different than other mages? This was supposed to be the "End" of this series, but it feels like a prequel for the next series. Not happy.

Unjustly comical.

I found this book to be nearly as offensive as it is comical. Lucky for me I'm not easily offended. Definately written by a die hard Republican with a sense of humor. true Voice talent is insanely good.

Historia
There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

Then a company hires him to recover stolen property - a camera that can allegedly take pictures of the past....

The Prodigal does necessarily have to be your child, it could be your spouse oh, it could be your niece or nephew, the sister brother aunt or uncle, or even a parent. this book spoke to me on those various levels and while not the greatest or most enthusiastic narrator the point what's still made powerfully clear. if you're tempted to read it, do yourself a favor, read it.

A painful book to read...
Revisado: 10-17-18
I would like him this book to having a broken leg that didn't set right and had to be broken again to mend correctly. It is terribly insightful, as difficult to pick up as it is to put down, but if you make it to the end it is very encouraging. There is hope for Glory at the end of trial.

that's it I'm done
Revisado: 06-02-18
this song I began with much possibility and now it's just a bunch of feminist propaganda. I loved the possibility in the first and second book. afterwards it seemed to become this long strong together Jab at making the story into the perfect Utopia queer feminist ideals save the day in the world. there's still a possibility of much promise but at this point in time, I'm done. these books have taken a dive too far into turning every male character either weakened, strange (Dorian), or just not as strong capable or cleaver as the females. In the previous book, the attempt to show the Lead characters strength and cleverness looks more like lazily filling in plot holes or what others may call toxic masculinity if a man had done it. The voice talent is excellent and kept me more interested than the actual book once it became the teenage world saving sex fest its becoming. I can admit being somewhat interested in finding out what happened to some of these kind of these characters, But ultimately I don't feel like suffering through to see it to the end anymore. I really hope the next book is the last one because if that's the case I might read it. but again, for now, I'm done!
