Good plot and story but the lead female character

The storyline is good as are the performances. However, there were some major inconsistencies in the story like one of the main reasons the main character talks the job is mentioned in the first chapter and never mentioned again. We aren't told why the main female character likes the main male character. . The main female character is super frustrating. Very naive and immature at times. I couldn't even finish the book which is a shame because the plot is really interesting.

Shocking, Drama-filled, gritty and touching

Blown away by this book and this author. I immediately downloaded book 2 and book 3. This story of Duece and Eva is hearbreaking, heartwrenching and touching all at the same time.

This storyline of the so-called biker lifestyle is not for the faint of heart. If you go into this story with an open mind, Prepare for it be blown.

Fantastic Debut in Erotic Romance

I was happy when this book made it to audio. The hype behind this debut novel by Christina Laurens is truly deserved. Excellent story line, the relationship and romance develop was stop on. The "steam" between Chloe and Bennett was smothering. Can't wait for the 2nd book in this series "Beautiful Stranger".

2nd Book of the series is just as wonderful

This is the 2nd book I've listened to from Cecilia Grant and I am a huge fan of her writing. The book combines adult and sometimes dark themes, adult reactions and witty writing. I don't know how Ms Grant is going to top this installment but I'm anxious to see if she can.

Now this is what Erotic Romance is all about.

Absolutely fantastic. I haven't been touched by a book like this in a long time. I loved all the characters in the book, Ellie, Adam, and Dr. Pritchard.

Joss aka Jocelyn is brave, wonderful and so real. For someone so young and who had lost so much; she is incredibly self-suffient and independent. That independence keeps her safe; safe from developing close relationships with others in fear that they can lead to further loss. I saw alot of myself in Joss, my younger 22 year old self.

I love the fact the Joss knows she has issues, but that Braden, that special someone, won't let those issues stop him from forcing himself into her life. Braden was the right man, at the right time and strong enough to be with Joss.

This is what Erotic Romance should be; passionate, uplifting, real and hopeful.

I highly recommend this book.

The audiobook narrated by Paula Costello who was fabulous.
