Excellent Military Fiction

As a professional pilot, and former member of the military I appreciate the level of detail that the author goes into with all of the books in the Jake Grafton series. This book in particular is an exciting, entertaining, and exhilarating read. It really paints a great picture for the reader of life aboard a carrier, and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Highly recommended!

Comprehensive history of the Challenger Disaster

I enjoyed all aspects of this book. As a lifelong space exploration nerd and aviation professional, I was impressed with everything from the level of detail to the engaging narration. Anyone interested in engineering, space exploration, or aviation should put this book on their list. Not only is at a well written account of the Challenger disaster; it's also a book of lessons on risk management, ethics, and accident investigation.

Better than the movie

This is an excellent book for those interested in history, commercial fishing, adventure, survival.
Sebastian Hunger does a great job of keeping the reader engaged as he weaves together nautical history, biographies of the crew, meteorology and more.
Even if you have seen the movie, the book is 100 times better.
