The kids have wild adventures while forming strong bonds. Mara teaches them to fight, and much more, for the mysterious old woman knows what the future holds for these children, and their coming will shake the world.

The Dark Prophecy Series is a thoroughly enjoyable story about adventure and the strong bonds of friendship and the loyalty that comes with it. The story is filled with interesting characters, unique monsters, twists and turns, plus a system of magic that makes logical sense once you find out how it works. I have read the entire series before and was excited to hear that there was an audio recording of the first book and I look forward to the audio version of the other books in the series. I would highly recommend this audiobook to anyone who enjoys hardcore fantasy novels.

What did you love best about Sorceress of Atlantis?
The party scenes were some of the funnest points of interest.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Nick the main character who I keep seeing as Bruce Campbell from the Evil Dead.
What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Yes, because in my head the voices are different but with the narrator and voice actors it changes that experience.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It made me laugh on several occasions!
Any additional comments?
This installment of the Archemage Wars is better than the first book, Wizard of Abal, as it is filled with humor, undercover work, amazing parties and epic battles. I look forward to hearing the next audio version of this series as I work on my artwork.

Would you consider the audio edition of Wizard of Abal to be better than the print version?
I totally consider the audio edition better than print only because these days most people are so busy just trying to make ends meet that reading print is a luxury. However, the performance was well done and ease to follow as I did other tasks while listening.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Wizard of Abal?
How the trebuchet scene ended.
Have you listened to any of Philip Blood and Full Cast ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Before I had only read his printed work or had my text to speech program Ivona Reader, read it to me while I did artwork.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
The reality of perception!

Once of the aspects I have always enjoyed about Phil Blood's writing is that he is a world creator and the rules of reality are always unique and well thought out. This book was a joy to listen to with plenty of twists, turns and a lot of humor. I also got a kick out of all the pop culture references. I look forward to listening to the next installment in the series. I am hooked!
