Historia
Jeff Kinney's highly anticipated sequel to his #1 New York Times best-selling Diary of a Wimpy Kid chronicles Greg Heffley's creative efforts to dodge middle school hazards, dazzle the girls, avoid talent shows, and - above all - guard his embarrassing secret. Ramón de Ocampo's spot-on narration enhances Kinney's authentic portrait of adolescent angst and madcap hilarity.

Awesome!

Just an overall amazing book. The only thing I disliked was it was a little scripted and I could tell that there was a bunch of recordings smashed up into one but still it was an amazing book. Thanks🙂

Just okay
Revisado: 09-14-22
This series is a bit too benign and PG for me. As an adult, I appreciate adult content with a bit more sustenance. It bordered on teeny bopper to me. I often fell asleep to it without bothering to re-listen and didn’t seem to miss anything. It wasn’t bad just not realistic adult content that kept me riveted.

Historia
Every modern city has one week’s worth of food to feed itself. Then it will collapse. Cut off the resources to New York, Sydney, or even a mid-size metropolis, and millions will soon starve. In Zero Day Code we see those immense and open, hyper-complex, networked supercities of the new millennium die. And in the last moments we see their vengeance take form as all the best and worst traits of humanity bubble to the surface.

Loved all 3 books!
Revisado: 09-04-22
I found all 3 books of the series to be both incredibly entertaining and an accurate representation of the many different types of people in America and how they may handle such a situation. Some reviewers found certain characters offensive. However, those characters along with the others are what makes this an accurate depiction of America’s melting pot of people. Additionally, they were all well developed and the main characters easy to follow. The narration/performance of all those characters was perfection!!

Within months after living through the frightening aftermath of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Oz and his wife Nicki vowed to never be caught off guard by life’s disastrous events. Together, they developed a deep understanding of gardening, food preservation, water purification and storage methods, security procedures, firearms training, and the importance of community. The more they learned, the less dependent they became on the grid, box stores, utility companies, grocery stores, and gas stations.

Not very good. Mildly entertaining. Want my credit back.
Revisado: 09-05-21
The story was flat, especially lacking depth of characters. The prepping “lessons” were okay but nothing that anyone who’s prepped for a while wouldn’t already know.
I listen to a lot of apocalyptic fiction and unfortunately, this just doesn’t make the mark.
I also found the depiction of the “terrorist”rather racist.
I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because I was at least able to finish the book. 1 star are books I have to return without being able to force my way through.

Revisado: 07-22-19
Engaging through and through. It was Especially nice to have a survival story not only from a woman’s perspective but a woman at least as tough as her male counterpart but not macho. Feminine tough. One that balances and compliments her male companion’s masculine toughness.

Historia
Imagine a blackout lasting not days, but weeks or months. Tens of millions of people over several states are affected. For those without access to a generator, there is no running water, no sewage, no refrigeration or light. Food and medical supplies are dwindling. Devices we rely on have gone dark. Banks no longer function, looting is widespread, and law and order are being tested as never before.
