I enjoyed this series so much! The writing and narration are just top-tier. Hoping we get Damned Connections series in audiobook form soon. Guess I'll check out Caffeine Dreams while we wait.

These books have been so much fun to listen to. Perfect narration, great slow-burn MM romance/mystery. Love Jem and Tean so much. They feel real, making choice real people do. Flawed and lovely.

Now it seems like everyone around them is getting married, and Luc's feeling the social pressure to propose. But it'll take more than four weddings, a funeral, and a bowl full of special curry to get these two from "I don't know what I'm doing" to "I do". Good thing Oliver is such perfect Husband Material.

Gay 90's Rom-Com, if there were ever such a thing.

I absolutely love this series. Very much a 90's rom-com for me. Without spoilers, parts of it hurt, because I love Oliver and Luc so much. But that only made it more real for me. The returning characters are very well written and feel like old friends. The narration by Joe Jameson brings them to life stunningly. He does the best voices.
Something I absolutely loved about this book, the lack of constant retelling the previous book. I hate recaps and this was mostly recap-free. Thank you Alexis Hall for a 2nd book. Here's hoping for a 3rd. :)

No formulaic coming-of-age queer romance here. You will feel acceptance without asking for it. Without spoiling the story, really enjoyed the undoing of certain tropes. Can’t wait for the next book!
