Historia
For more than 150 years I've served the Kingdom of Sena. Through four Kings and a Queen. Two wars and a rebellion. I've founded and taught at a magic school. I've fought against beast waves and dungeon breaks. But now? Now, the one close friend I had left has passed. So, I'm done with their politics and their economics. The short and busy lives of humans are more burden than benefit on the weary soul of this half-elf.

nothing but slice of life
Revisado: 06-06-24
the MC knows all, can do all and is impervious to all. action is almost nonexistent and leveling is even less. MC rises one " tier " in all 3 books .

Historia
Clyde Hatchett, Glaton's prodigal son, is finally home. Sure, he's got a whole new body and face, so nobody recognizes him. And technically he's not from Glaton—he's really only spent a few months there. But they say home is wherever your love resides, and since Nadya lives in Glaton . . . wait, does Clyde actually love Nadya? This is getting complicated. That, on top of all the problems Clyde left behind, which haven't gotten any less knotty while he was gone. The Senate is heating up, with numerous noble idiots vying for the throne.

author forgot the genre
Revisado: 01-18-24
nothing happens, half the book is actually a different perspective on a different book. it's supposed to be litrpg but the main character kills I think 1 thing and doesn't even mention xp. only reason it's not 1 star is I bought it on a discount.

Historia
Up until now, Montana's gotten by pretending he's a regular guy. Well, a regular, overpowered, god-defeating guy who maybe just learned his hair is in all the wrong places. But the big city is calling, and in order to succeed there, Montana must actually prove himself a deserving duke. If Glaton finds him lacking, Coggeshall could be forced into even further isolation. But if Glaton falls in love with him, the regular guy from Motor City could end up with limitless power, in charge of it all. And just like that, the fate of the entire Empire is in Montana's hands.

this book doesn't need to exist
Revisado: 01-12-23
it's lit RPG . but only 1 level in the entire book. half of the book is just rehashed internal monolog that has been done a dozen times in other books. the main character constantly complains about being dumb yet does nothing to remedy it. I'll give the series 1 more chance before I call it quits.... narrator is good though.

Historia
Across the world of Aster Fall, there are unique classes, but not all of them can be trained. They require quests and accomplishments that simply don't exist in the world. Some say the World Law itself is broken and that the world is falling apart. In comes Sam Hastern. His family has been cursed by one of these classes for the last 50 years. No one has ever managed to level it, condemning them to the lowest paying jobs and life in a barren village.

everything gives a level in something. garbled class system inconsistent timelines and zero personality to any characters. narrator was the only thing halfway decent.

I really liked this book. It is litrpg but its bridging the gap between litrpg and traditional fantasy novels. that pulled me into the story more than many litrpg books

The decision to start a new life is never an easy one, but for Joe the transition was far from figurative. Becoming a permanent addition to a game world, it doesn't take long to learn that people with his abilities are actively hunted. In fact, if the wrong people gained knowledge of what he was capable of, assassins would appear in droves.

Somehow I bought this
Revisado: 02-12-18
The writing is poor , author uses the term "somehow" almost constantly. narrator is monotone to the extreme and you can literally hear the saliva in his mouth. the editing cuts off some of the words. I can't even finish listening to this
