Historia
Siobhán is looking forward to visiting the new bookshop and curling up with an exciting novel - only to discover the shelves contain nothing but Literature with a capital L. Despite the owner deliberately limiting his clientele, he’s hosting a reading and autographing event featuring up-and-coming Irish writers. Among them is indie author Deirdre Walsh, whose body is found the next day in the back of the store.

Fun but unreasonable plot
Revisado: 07-10-18
The plot is ridiculous, that said, the book is enjoyable. The performance is okay, not as good as some other performers.

Historia
Modern medicine is a world that glimmers with new technology and cutting-edge research. To the public eye, medical stories often begin with sirens and flashing lights and culminate in survival or death. But these are only the most visible narratives. As a critical care doctor treating people at their sickest, Daniela Lamas is fascinated by a different story: what comes after for those whose lives are extended by days, months, or years as a result of our treatments and technologies?

Historia
Meredith and Nina Whitson are as different as sisters can be. One stayed at home to raise her children and manage the family apple orchard; the other followed a dream and traveled the world to become a famous photojournalist. But when their beloved father falls ill, Meredith and Nina find themselves together again, standing alongside their cold, disapproving mother, Anya, who even now, offers no comfort to her daughters.

Not up to her usual
Revisado: 10-09-17
The book just goes on and on. I kept waiting for the story and finally gave up. It's boring and upsetting. I usually enjoy Kristin Hannah's books but not this time.

Historia
Reclusive literary legend M. M. "Mimi" Banning has been holed up in her Bel Air mansion for years. But after falling prey to a Bernie Madoff-style Ponzi scheme, she's flat broke. Now Mimi must write a new book for the first time in decades, and to ensure the timely delivery of her manuscript, her New York publisher sends an assistant to monitor her progress. The prickly Mimi reluctantly complies - with a few stipulations: no Ivy Leaguers or English majors. Must drive, cook, tidy. Computer whiz. Good with kids.

Incredibly boring

What disappointed you about Be Frank with Me?
Just boring and repetitive. I gave up.
What was most disappointing about Julia Claiborne Johnson’s story?
The topic was a good one about a child on the autism spectrum but I couldn't keep listening because it was so boring.
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
The performance was fine.

It seems that her friend Hazel’s PI husband, J.D,. has gotten himself in some trouble in West Virginia - and he’s one tirade away from landing in a jail cell. Disappointing Miss Julia
Revisado: 06-06-12
What disappointed you about Miss Julia to the Rescue?
I love the series but this one fell way short. It was homophobic and anti- any religion but mainstream. Miss Julia is way better than this story.
Would you ever listen to anything by Ann B. Ross again?
Yes, I'd try again.
Have you listened to any of Cynthia Darlow’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes, Cynthia Darlow was fine.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
Its always good to catch up with the characters in the story.
Any additional comments?
Give us back our open-minded Miss Julia!
