This book is slow to start and takes a while to get through, but in the end gives an interesting view into adlerian psychology. I guess it had the courage to be disliked for the first several chapters.

Well done! Would like to see what happens in that world's 1960 or 1980's. (Cats with bad mullets perhaps? ) Question remain about the League.

Sorry to hear about the original narrator. Mr Ochlan did an admirable job in what has to be one of the most challenging books to read for an audience that has expectations of what the characters sound like after 14 books. Congratulations sir!

Dark and disturbing with flashes of hope.

While the business aspect of this story was interesting, the obvious human toll is completely tragic. More so because of its avoidable nature. Like the opioid epidemic, I feel this epidemic is effecting our society to a much greater extent than we first thought. The main difference is porn is more wide spread and effects far more people. Alarming stats, well written, and done from a humanistic angle this is a disturbing but worthwhile ADULT listen.

Slow start, but wait for it!

Secretly this is a book about leadership and life, of being human and inhumane, and of the balance between science and religion. Upon reflection, one can see our daily struggles within the questions raised in this book. I really enjoyed the idea of Sprin. It is a fun book, yet, if looked at beyond the surface entertainment, there as lessons to be pondered and tough questions about one's self to consider.

What made the experience of listening to Boys Adrift the most enjoyable?

Wonderful information, backed up by science! It helps those who work with children see where the challenges lie. We, as a society, like to blame this or that for the problems of today's youth. This book helps identify specific action that we can take to help our young boys and men.

What made the experience of listening to Mindset the most enjoyable?

The immediate usability of this knowledge was wonderful. I work with children daily, and by changing a few words, we can actually see changes in how they respond to us in the office. Such a powerful book! Great for parents, teachers, and anyone that works with children.

Slow Start but worth it.

While this was a bit slow to start, it was an incredible book. Not the type I would let my pre-teen read, mind you, but a good book. Some deviant stuff in there, but very well written and excellent voice talent! You will listen to all 3.
