What a compelling book! The author tells her story in such a way that left no doubt that she has been determined to use all that life has thrown against her as fodder for hope and growth and ...resilience. The reader is wonderful! Such a great choice. So easy to understand and so compelling! Excellent!

Annabelle Dare is in a good place. She landed a sweet job, teaching at the quaint Fox River Elementary School. It was a great listen! I enjoyed the storyline, finding myself able to connect with the authors main character. The descriptions of her emotions were simple yet spot on - especially since most of the time there was several emotions competing. The audio performance was entertaining and allowed me to easily keep up with the various characters. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed it!
