Not my favorite of the Everlasting series. BJ Harrison is wonderful at bringing the story and characters to life (like always). Story line was not what I was hoping for. If you are hoping to learn more about Aunt Polly, you're going to be disappointed. This book introduces new characters with splashes of Aunt Polly. I will read /listen to the next book only because I want to complete the entire Everlasting series.

My biggest complaint with the entire series is the sex scenes, too vulgar for me. I wish the girl would just be a woman and speak up. She got better toward the end but still. This book is not one side and I didn't find myself wanting to know what was the man's thoughts on the chapter. The ending (the takedown) was a bust for me. No climatic at all. For all that happened, I excepted more.
