LOVE the series

Good writing. KM Shea does witty banter and fun characters super well. The books set in Magiford (yes, this is one of those) are excellent clean romance, meaning there is a romantic element on a normal adventure storyline.

wonderful naration

great naration by author and full cast, can't believe these aren't more popular. this isn't my favorite of his books, but the narration added a lot, especially to the songs, which I usually skip when reading the actual text
