Historia
When Margaret and her husband Hal bought the large Victorian house on Hawthorn Street—for sale at a surprisingly reasonable price—they couldn’t believe they finally had a home of their own. Then they discovered the hauntings. Every September, the walls drip blood. The ghosts of former inhabitants appear, and all of them are terrified of something that lurks in the basement. Most people would flee. Margaret is not most people. Margaret is staying.

Decent

It wasvery well written. The author put a lot od effort to the wording, to the mind od an abused woman and her justifications. But I found the overall story a little full, no shocking revelation and unraveling at the end. Guess I Just love a story that you have a million questions throughout the book and it all makes sense at the end. But I was missing it here. But I like the audio performance.

Story ok, narrator sucks
Revisado: 07-25-22
Not a bad story. Just the kind I like, similar to Sigma force novels, although it lacks some more explanation. A little confusing at the end, also rushed. Had to go back a few times to understand and connect the dots. As for the narrator: just terrible! Starting with MI16, and the horrible interpretation of Purdue! And we shall not forget the loud narration, after this saying "she whispered", or high narration followed by "she said in a low deep tone". Was just awfull!

Wtf?
Revisado: 07-20-22
I love the first book. It was just ob the line of "could it be??". Second book was booring and confusing. This one? Straight horrible!!! I LOVE mystery and the line line between reality and SiFi. A book for me, should be sientific and make you wonder. But this?! Straight SyFy... I did not sign in for a Star wars adventure! Let your fans know in the plot that that this Will be in space! Not to mention, horrible plot! Narrator was OK. But indeed, a waste of money for me.

Good listen!
Revisado: 05-07-22
I have to admit, I really enyojed this book. It was interesting right until the end. Good twist/revelation at the end. I don't know what I should think of the main characters, a little bit to cheasy and predictable, but I guess this was the point.

Predictable
Revisado: 04-27-22
I like a good "epidemic" story, but it just laks a twist. Everything is just so linear and predictable. It is mysterious at times, but probably the last third of the book, we all know what is going to happen at end. Missing a big twist!

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE a good mystery involving pathogens, terorist, etc. It was a Nice story, but there is no revelation at the end, no Shocking developments. Halfway through the book, we all know what it is going to happen if you have read enough mysteries, seen some thrillers on TV. I have really missed some big twist at the end. It was really predictable and linear!

Historia
Half a century ago, an aberration was spotted by one of our earliest satellites, and summarily dismissed as a hardware malfunction. But it was no aberration. And no malfunction. It was an accidental glimpse of something extraordinary, and very old. Mocked for decades, the man who designed the satellite is now dead. With the system's original data firmly in the hands of former NTSB investigator Joe Rickards and anthropologist Angela Reed.

Better story, but narrating was bad
Revisado: 09-18-20
Demspey really puts more effort into the story than before. I all commes smoothly together, The story makes se še... Gor fiction. I like the story. But, I struggled with the audio book since the narrator reads like a robot or a computer. Absolutely no emotions, or adjustment if the tone. It was like listnening to an automated message on a machine.
