Okay story- developed characters that go nowhere

The story just sort of ends. There are a lot of loose ends/ bits that could have made it into a great story but it went nowhere. No explanation for explosion. No explanation for death of first girl. No explanation for the nosey detective or what happens to the drug dealer. It has the potential to have been great. It wasn’t developed all the way through.

Hilarious! Great character!

The fmc is absolutely hilarious. The banter is pretty funny. The “relationship” doesn’t develop that much. And the conflict almost non existent. The new performance of the female lead was awesome. I was legit laughing out loud at parts.

Great narrators. I liked the backstory and the spice. As. Quick read there isn’t a slow burn or a build up to redemption and forgiveness but it is a good story. And the fact that not everyone is perfect makes it more real.
