I feel heard and seen!

Fantastic book written with so much empathy, humour, wit and honesty filled with tons of examples making it very easy to understand and digest. I enjoyed how much research and interview material Amanda refers to throughout. Even though the title states "a feminist guide" it contains a lot of interesting information about language of marginalised communities and she speaks on some of the challenges that men face as well.

My first dark academia experience and I loved it.

Some say this book could've been shorter, but I don't feel like that at the end. I enjoyed every moment, absolutely gorgeous. I don't know much about Shakespeare so that went over my head a little bit, but it doesn't retract from the story. This novel broke my heart in the end.

I loved the story, the world, the magic, the characters. And the narration is on point!
I've only recently started to make a shift to the fantasy genre and this was so perfect to get me into it after Howl's Moving Castle.

Couldn't finish audiobook - might try ebook

Narration is very monotonous, I felt Peter could've been done with a bit more confidence as well. I might try the ebook sometime as the story seems highly recommended by other reviewers.
I don't usually like sci-fi post-apocalyptic books, however halfway through it feels like I could start liking this type of content.
World building is great, but rather read the book yourself.
