Historia
Originally serialized in 1868 and collected as a book in 1871, At the Back of the North Wind is the magical story of Diamond, the son of a poor coachman, who is swept away by the North Wind – a radiant, maternal spirit with long, flowing hair – and whose life is transformed by a brief glimpse of the beautiful country – at the back of the north wind.

Something transcendent in the writing, which reader Rebecca K Reynolds respects and conveys.

Lovely narration

A sweet story with wonderful allegory! And the narration made the story truly come alive.

Historia
All My Knotted-Up Life is a beautifully crafted portrait of resilience and survival, a poignant reminder of God’s enduring faithfulness, and proof positive that if we ever truly took the time to hear people’s full stories . . . we’d all walk around slack-jawed.

A Must-Read for Every Western World Woman
Revisado: 03-08-23
It is no exaggeration to say that Beth has impacted millions of women’s lives, she is the spiritual mother of nearly the entirety of Gen X women (not to mention many boomers and millennials as well).
She has taught us, discipled us, prayed for us, protected us, advocated for us, and fought for us, and has done so at extreme cost to herself, her marriage, and her family.
No amount of money or fame or notoriety or influence is worth what she has endured, but it has never been about any of those things to her (as anyone with an ounce of discernment can plainly see).
Like the remarks I made after reading Michelle Obama’s memoir a few years ago, Beth’s memoir is a must-read for every western world woman, regardless of spiritual or political views.
