Constant word was a bit irritating

I thought the story was interesting and held my attention. The only thing that really started to annoy me was this author has a favorite word and it was “swoon” It made me cringe every single time I heard it. It become very over used quickly and the way the teenagers would talk was not really the way typical teenagers would talk, the words they used just didn’t fit the typical maturity level. Some are ancient so I guess it’s ok, but it was a fun listen. Just don’t take it too seriously. I’m happy I didn’t pay for it.

Good up until the end

I really enjoyed this book but felt like they tried too hard with so many red herrings. The ending felt a little rushed that’s why I gave it only 4 stars instead of 5. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good book but when you hear the twist it’s so out of left field that it feels like they just threw it in to try to be a huge surprise. I would still recommend it for the story but the ending felt hurried and rushed.
