Excellent Guidance on How to Face the Future
Revisado: 09-24-22
Great Discussion about the Future. The book discusses how technology advancement will impact all parts of our lives. Work, health, society and families will all be radically and continually impacted over the years to come. The impact is positive and powerful, not to be feared, but to be embraced. Additionally, the book provides actionable steps to prepare yourself, your kids and your organizations to face these upcoming changes. Excellent read, good narrator, and quick paced.

Not worth it
Revisado: 07-30-21
As mentioned previously, they didn’t finish editing the audio before publishing.
My issue, was with the content. They spent more time listing the products of Procter & Gamble than they spent on giving practical advice on how do you evaluate the “good managers “or “good price”

Historia
Dickens called David Copperfield his "favourite child," and many critics consider the novel to be one of his best depictions of childhood. Set in early Victorian England against a backdrop of great social change, Dickens acutely observed the phenomena of the Industrial Revolution and used them as the canvas on which he painted the novel. Many consider David Copperfield to be the author’s finest work.

Rich and dynamic language
Revisado: 05-21-15
You can definitely understand why high school English teachers assign Charles Dickens for reading. His language is both beautiful and moving.

Historia
What are the grand dynamics that drive the accumulation and distribution of capital? Questions about the long-term evolution of inequality, the concentration of wealth, and the prospects for economic growth lie at the heart of political economy. But satisfactory answers have been hard to find for lack of adequate data and clear guiding theories.

Mistitled Book - but good info
Revisado: 05-07-15
Would you listen to Capital in the Twenty-First Century again? Why?
In reality, the title should have been "400 year analysis of the gap between rich and poor". That being said, the book contained great analysis of the changes in wealth especially focused on the 1917-1950 timeframe.
What did you like best about this story?
The author utilized novels to analyse price and wage differentials. Interesting concept. I had not considered them as sources of disparity documentation previously.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
The book does have long sections of numbers and graphs. They are handled well for an audiobook, but definately would not want to listen to it all in one sitting.
