Solid beginning, mediocre ending

Started off very strong, but then towards the end just has you going What the h*** is going on?
Still overall, a great story. But the ending just doesn't do it for me personally.

I have no idea what I just listened to.

It was very engaging, but if you are expecting solid new lore that involves cypher or the lion then you won't get it with this. it is still a fun listen though even if it is just one big mind ****

Good book about the flesh tearers

The book has some weird lore inconsistencies but it's 40k so you kinda expect that. Got into the book as a huge fan of the flesh tearers, left feeling they are just barely better than world eaters (which I kinda already thought).
Given how many times the phrase "I imagined myself tearing his head off" or how many fights they get into amongst themselves or how many thralls they just straight up super murder over mild stuff, I'm shocked that anything ever gets done in their chapter, but again that's 40k baybee
All in all though it's a very fun book and I encourage people to go into it with an open mind.

Great Book/Okay voice acting.
