Historia
Most mercenary units fly flags on two flagpoles at their headquarters: one with their unit’s flag, and other bearing the flag of their current employer. However, the Third Regimental Combat Team—a.k.a. the Eridani Light Horse—leaves one flagpole bare, as a reminder of the death of the Star League, and the other pole flies the Light Horse’s unit and regimental flags at half-mast.

The Light Horse through the Ages
Revisado: 01-31-25
This is a great collection of stories. I am a big fan of the ELH, and they are my primary force in the BT game. The stories vary in quality, but they are all entertaining. Some of the performances are not as good, with incorrectly pronounced words and strange accents. This takes away some of the enjoyment for me, though not everyone will notice as strongly. If you want to know more about the Eridani Light Horse, or Battletech lore from each of the major eras of the Inner Sphere and Clan space this is worth picking up.

Entertaining and thoroughly enlightening.

I don't often write reviews for the books I purchase on Audible but this was one of the best lecture series in the Great Courses library. The instructor is engaging and his lectures are perfectly composed. I tore through this series and wish there were more to hear. If the subject matter interests you I highly recommend this course.
