Would you try another book from Christina Lauren and/or Grace Grant and Kirby Heybourne ?
The book was fine, another dopey sex story, but the narration was bad, especially the French.
Would you be willing to try another book from Christina Lauren? Why or why not?
Sure, although I could not get past the beginning of Beautiful Stranger (TERRIBLE "English" accent) and had to return it.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The French accent was hideous and I'm not even French! I'm sure there are narrators out there who are either native speakers of whatever language it's supposed to be in, or have better accents. I mean the whole point of an audiobook is that you LISTEN to it.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Ambivalence, but I cringed every time there was French spoken.
