Historia
The Covert Passive Aggressive Narcissist: Finding Healing After Hidden Emotional and Psychological Abuse is the most comprehensive and helpful audiobook on the topic of covert narcissism. This type of narcissism is one of the most damaging forms because the abuse is so hidden and so insidious. You can be in a relationship that can last for decades and not realize you are being psychologically and emotionally controlled, manipulated, and abused.

Aha! moment? mouth wide open cover to cover!
Revisado: 01-03-19
In a desperate search to figure out what was happening to my 22-year marriage (to a Dr. of Psychology), I stumbled across sound bites of information about covert narcissism. Never enough to understand the profound emotional and physical effect it has on families. I have been living CN free for 5 years and in treatment with 3 therapists, I got more from this book in 5 hours! The similarities between my life and of the stories told in this book were stunning. It also made me realize that I still have work to do towards healing and protecting my children. I hit "clip" and "add note" so often that I ended up buying hard copies to share with my family and friends who literally saved my life during the discard stage. Thank you for this book, Ms. Mirza, and for shedding light on this closeted form of narcissism. I feel hope, lightness and most importantly not alone. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Historia
Finally, the solution to the number-one reason we don't exercise: time. Everyone has one minute. A decade ago, Martin Gibala was a young researcher in the field of exercise physiology - with little time to exercise. That critical point in his career launched a passion for high-intensity interval training (HIIT), allowing him to stay in shape with just a few minutes of hard effort. It also prompted Gibala to conduct experiments that helped launch the exploding science of ultralow-volume exercise

EXERCISE WITHIN REACH!! FINALLY I CAN DO THIS!
Revisado: 04-04-18
Would you listen to The One-Minute Workout again? Why?
I've read a number of books on fitness and was left feeling that I was never doing enough or doing it right and have felt like giving up. This book was a perfect blend of fitness backed by science. I was left feeling encouraged, confident and excited to move my body! I will listen to this book again whenever I need to get back on track and motivated.
What does Sean Pratt bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I like the way Sean presents the material. He makes it easy and fun to listen to.

Historia
Every Wednesday, Gretchen Reynolds singlehandedly influences how millions of Americans work out. In her Phys Ed column for The New York Times, she debunks myths, spurs conversation, and creates arguments among her readers by questioning widely held beliefs about exercise. Expanding upon her popular columns, Reynolds tackles the questions we all have and (sometimes) ask about exercise.

I’m 53, and work in a workout everyday,in a gym, park or home .I like to cycle, swim and take yoga and strength training classes. I also work in front of a computer 8+ hours a day. I felt defeated after listening to this.
The recap of studies and data were interesting, but somehow I missed the connection to the first 20 minutes.
I felt the book focuses more on runners, which I’m not and in the end did not inspire me.
