Historia
Terminated for inappropriate behavior. I couldn’t believe the letter in my hands. Nine years. Nine damn years I’d worked my butt off for one of the largest companies in America, and I was fired with a form letter when I returned home from a week in Aruba. All because of a video taken when I was on vacation with my friends - a private video made on my private time. Or so I thought.... I cracked open a bottle of wine and wrote my own letter to the gazillionaire CEO telling him what I thought of his company. I didn’t think he’d actually respond.

Awesome Narrators, Subpar Story, Trigger Warning
Revisado: 07-02-20
Any book narrated by Sebastian York and Andi Arndt is a must-try for me! The narration is always on point with these two. However, the story left a lot to be desired. The female character was unprofessional with anger management issues and annoying as all get out, to say the least. I couldn't get past chapter three despite how much I loved the narrators.
Trigger Warning!! - Be aware that as others have mentioned, this book touches on subjects such as the death of an infant and severe depression.

Historia
For cowboy and firefighter Jake Ramsay, Christmas at Thunder Mountain Ranch is all about family, food, and celebration. Okay, and maybe a chance to run into his high school sweetheart, singer Amethyst Ferguson. Six months ago they had a scorching-hot, wild reunion...and this cowboy can't wait for another chance to play with fire.

The 1st story was boring, 2nd story was okay
Revisado: 05-14-20
I couldn't get past chapter three of the first book, Cowboy Unwrapped. The story was boring and there was no chemistry between the main characters. The second book, One Hot December was just okay. If you are looking for a good book by Tiffany Reisz (the author of the 2nd book), you are better off trying Her Halloween Treat - which was a great read! The only reason I purchased this bundle is because of Tiffany Reisz's storytelling as it wasn't available individually. Disappointed.

Historia
NHL coach Mark Diego's plan to spend his off-season volunteering in his hometown goes awry when he learns that not only is he coaching teenage girls, but that the program is coordinated by energetic (and five feet two inches of trouble) coordinator Rainey Saunders, his childhood friend—and the woman he could never stand to see dating any other guy….

Great story, strong female lead, BUT abrupt ending
Revisado: 05-12-20
[Who would I recommend this to?]
If you are a fan of car washes, coaching, date auctions, love/hate relationships, and sports (baseball, hockey, softball), this book might be worth a try. However, note that it has a lackluster ending, to say the least.
[My Review]
Jill Shalvis' Time Out was a fun read, full of lust, and sexy times. It was a second-chance love story for Rainey (strong, independent woman), and her childhood crush, Mark (stubborn, sexy bachelor). Both, main lead personalities were strong and well-developed. I fell in love with the characters. I laughed out loud, cringed, and even, blushed throughout the book. Most of the conversations happened in the character's head so, there wasn't much dialogue between them. I was saddened that the ending was overly abrupt.
[Spoiler Alert]
As soon as the lead characters admitted their feelings for each other, the book ended and left the readers with a lot of unanswered questions. The characters (and the readers) deserved better.
