Historia
The year is 1771. Claire Randall is still an outlander, out of place and out of time. But now she is linked by love to her only anchor - Jamie Fraser. They have crossed oceans and centuries to build a life together in North Carolina. But tensions, both ancient and recent, threaten members of their clan. Knowing that his wife has the gift of prophecy, James must believe Claire, though he would prefer not to. Claire has shared a dreadful truth - there will, without a doubt, be a war.

Historia
The Wheel of Time turns and Ages come and go, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth returns again. In the Third Age, an Age of Prophecy, the World and Time themselves hang in the balance. What was, what will be, and what is, may yet fall under the Shadow.

the perfect ending to an epic series. The characters were well represented and whole, the story compelling. even battle scenes (which I get bored with eaaily) were engaging and we'll done.

How did Psychology come to be what it is now?
Revisado: 05-10-14
What made the experience of listening to The Great Ideas of Psychology the most enjoyable?
This was so thought provoking. It was very similar to an undergraduate course I took years ago, but at the time I didn't really appreciate it as much as I do now. I love gaining the perspective of how ideas and fields came to be, and what influences the different approaches to psychology in study and practice.

Taking as Many Perspectives as Possible
Revisado: 05-10-14
Would you listen to Moral Decision Making again? Why?
Yes, I actually plan to after reading something else. This course was very engrossing and thought-inspiring. The topics were relevant to most people facing the modern world of today and I feel that much could be gleaned from a second and third listen.
Which scene was your favorite?
I was really into the discussions on money and economics, as well as the Golden Rule and hedonism.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I certainly tried! It took me 2 days to get through.

Historia
Game of Thrones fans watch in delight as the epic battle of Lannister and Stark entangles the Seven Kingdoms. But only the sharpest notice how these houses echo Lancaster and York in the War of the Roses. Druids, Catholics, and even Zoroastrians wander through Westeros, reframing their religions for a new world of fantasy. But how medieval is Westeros? Did lady knights and pirates really battle across Europe? The audiobook Winter is Coming: Symbols and Hidden Meanings in A Game of Thrones explores all this and more, from the echoes of history to the symbols and omens our beloved characters.

About John Snow
What did you like best about this story?
I loved the ideas and the discussion of parallels to European history. Though as far as the characters were concerned the vast majority of the interesting discussion is about John Snow.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Yes, but SPOILERS
